Regulation 3 – Procedure for Election to Fellow

1        Qualification Requirements

The candidate must:

1.1     Hold a Master of Science degree in one of the listed disciplines and be at least 30 years of age

or

1.2     Have supplied outstanding service to the Institution or to the surveying profession in Ireland

2          Nomination Procedure

2.1     The candidate must be nominated by two existing fellows of the Institution.

3          Acceptance Procedure

3.1     Council to ratify the nomination at a council meeting with reference to fulfilling the qualification requirements and with regards to supplying outstanding service to the Institution or to the surveying profession in Ireland.

3.2     Annual General Meeting to approve each nomination individually by a show of hands.”
