DIT Surveying & Mapping Developments Series GPS to GNSS - a CPD Event Monday 8th March DIT Surveying & Mapping Developments Series GPS to GNSS - a CPD Event Monday 8th March The Department of Spatial Information Sciences at DIT is pleased to invite you to this event as part of its Developments Series of Programmes for Industry. Programmes are also offered in its Fundamentals Series, Specialisation Series and Showcase Series. Attendance at this event is free of charge but registration is required. It is supported by Murphy Surveys Ltd., Society of Chartered Surveyors and Irish Institution of Surveyors. Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), including GPS, Glonass and Galileo, have developed significantly in the last decade. These system developments and enhancements have led to new survey possibilities. In Ireland, the establishment of networks of Continuously Operating Reference Stations has changed field practices and enabled users to get the most from their GNSS receivers. This Seminar will discuss these topics from both an academic and practical view point followed by a Q&A session with
