The IIS now offer the facility for members to move to an unemployed member status and get a reduced rate on membership fees while not working in survey/GI industry.

CONDITIONS OF UNEMPLOYED STATUS (25% of current membership category)
1. Unemployed status is only available to members who are unemployed for the
full duration of 2011
2. Unemployed members will receive a membership card and will thus be able to
avail of IIS discounts on goods, service and CPD
3. The newsletter will only be provided in electronic format on provision of a
valid e-mail address
4. All outstanding membership fees must be paid in full before members are
eligible to apply for unemployed status
5. Payment must be made by Cheque, Postal Order or Electronic Transfer
6. This application is valid for 2011 only
7. The decision of council to approve or reject the application is final
8. Any abuse of unemployed status will result in removal of your name from the
membership register of the IIS.
9. If employment is obtained during the year 2011 full membership fees apply
